The Fort / Buton Palace Complex


To go to the Buton Regency, we can use the sea route speed boat ride Sagori Express or Super Jet. Travel time from Turkey to Baubau about 5 hours. After arriving in Baubau we can use a landline to Buton district to hire a car to travel about 2-3 hours long.
 
But to get to the fortress palace Buton we do not need all the way to the Buton Regency, because fort is located only about 3 km from the center of Bau Bau. The fort was built in the sixteenth century by the Buton, made ​​of volcanic stone arranged neatly with lime as an adhesive. At the time of the kingdom of Buton, the castle serves as a base defense of pirate attacks and the Dutch colonialists. This fort has 12 entrances and exits, each of which has a name. Inside the fort there are relics of historical attractions as follows:
